Every .exe file that I double click on gives me the prompt in the title. I fear my registry is infected by a virus but I can't open an anti virus program to scan my computer. Can anyone help me? If you are using windows XP then please perform following steps. 1 Open you’re My Computer from the desktop. 2 Click on the tool option 3 After that Select Folder option. 4 Click on Files type 5 Select your Drive and click on the New Button. 6 You have a box in that box select on Advanced tab. 7 Please put .exe in the File Extension. 8 You have found a pop box choose on them as “Application”. 9 Click on Ok.
